Sure we are the new kid on the block only starting to sell gases in 1991, and only starting to fill cylinders in 1997, but that can be an advantage. First of all, we know we have to try harder, be more service oriented and be more competitive because all of our sales have to come from our potential customers changing from their current supplier. We weren't around when most of the St. Louis business's originated and then started buying gas. Our growth is proof we are doing something right and that the St. Louis Industrial Commercial Market and Construction Industry is very pleased with our work ethic, business policies, our gas quality and our competitive pricing.
Like wise by buying all of our cylinders from 1991 to present our average age of our cylinder fleet may be one of the youngest in the St. Louis Area. This is a plus to you for several reasons. It only takes common sense to figure out that the older cylinders are, the more likely they are to fail or leak. The core technology on Acetylene has also changed over the years, our cylinders have the most recent core technology which our customers take advantage of.
